Democratic Policy Committee to hold public hearing on air quality issues related to oil refineries Thursday in Philadelphia
HARRISBURG, April 20 – House Democratic Policy Committee Chairman Mike Sturla, D-Lancaster, announced today that the committee will hold a public hearing on the issue of air quality and public safety related to oil refineries' use of hydrofluoric acid from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, April 21 at the University of Pennsylvania Irvine Auditorium’s Amado Recital Room, corner of 34th and Spruce streets, Philadelphia.
State Rep. Maria Donatucci, D-Delaware/Phila., requested and will co-chair the hearing.
