Majority Policy Committee, Siptroth examining search and rescue operations Monday in Harrisburg
HARRISBURG, July 22 – Chairman Mike Sturla, D-Lancaster, announced today that the House Majority Policy Committee will hold a public hearing on the management of search and rescue operations in Pennsylvania from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, July 26 in Room 140 Main Capitol, Harrisburg.
State Rep. John Siptroth, D-Monroe/Pike, requested the hearing and will serve as co-chairman. The current agenda is:
· 2 p.m. – Welcome and opening remarks
· 2:10 p.m. – Panel of search and rescue professionals:
Ø Christopher Rudolph, chief, Pocono Search and Rescue
Ø Bruce Barton, chief, Northeast Search and Rescue
Ø John Miller, president, Pennsylvania Search and Rescue
