Majority Policy Committee, Bradford to explore
alternative energy issues Wednesday in Worcester
DEP Secretary John Hanger to testify
HARRISBURG, July 26 – Chairman Mike Sturla, D-Lancaster, announced today that the House Majority Policy Committee will hold a public hearing on alternative energy issues from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 28 in the auditorium at Allan Myers Inc., 1805 Berks Road, Worcester.
State Rep. Matthew Bradford, D-Montgomery, requested the hearing and will serve as co-chairman. The current agenda is:
· 1 p.m. – Welcome and opening remarks
· 1:10 p.m. – John Hanger, secretary, Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection
· 1:25 p.m. – Jan Jarret, president, PennFuture
· 1:40 p.m. – David Masur, executive director, PennEnvironment
· 1:55 p.m. – Reiner Jaeckle, founder and chief operations officer, Metro-Tek Electrical Services
· 2:10 p.m. – Rob Colucci, senior director of energy and sustainability, Merck & Company
· 2:25 p.m. – Maureen Mulligan, representative for Solar Alliance & Mid-Atlantic Solar Energy Industries Association/PA Division
· 2:40 p.m. – Eric Thumma, senior REC originator, Iberdrola Renewables
· 2:55 p.m. – Closing remarks
