Democratic Policy Committee to hold public hearing on

state budget cuts Thursday in Philadelphia

 

HARRISBURG, July 26 – House Democratic Policy Committee Chairman Mike Sturla, D-Lancaster, announced today that the committee will hold a public hearing on state budget cuts from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, July 28 at St. Joseph's University, Mandeville Hall's Teletorium, at the corner of 54th St. and City Ave., Philadelphia.

 

State Rep. Pam DeLissio, D-Montgomery/Phila., requested the hearing and will serve as co-chair. This hearing will consider the impact budget cuts are having on communities in southeastern Pennsylvania as the Policy Committee evaluates what needs will be required for next year’s state budget.

 

The current hearing agenda is:
