Democratic Policy Committee to hold public hearing

on Marcellus Shale Monday in Wilkes-Barre

 

HARRISBURG, Aug. 11 House Democratic Policy Committee Chairman Mike Sturla, D-Lancaster, announced today that the committee will hold a public hearing on Marcellus Shale issues from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15 at Wilkes University's Henry Student Center's Ballroom, 84 W. South St., Wilkes-Barre.

 

State Rep. Eddie Day Pashinski, D-Luzerne, who requested the hearing, will serve as its co-chairman. The hearing will include discussion of the Governors Marcellus Shale Advisory Commission report.

 

The current hearing agenda is:
