House Policy committees and Life Sciences Caucus to hold public hearing on state of the life sciences industry Tuesday in Pittsburgh
HARRISBURG, Aug. 18 – Chairmen Mike Sturla, D-Lancaster, and Stan Saylor, R-York, announced today that the House Democratic and Republican Policy committees and the House Life Sciences Caucus will hold a public hearing on the state of the life sciences industry from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24 at the Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse, Suite 400, 100 Technology Drive, Pittsburgh.
The House Life Sciences Caucus is co-chaired by state Reps. Rick Taylor, D-Montgomery, Douglas Reichley, R-Berks/Lehigh, John Hornaman, D-Erie, and Scott Petri, R-Bucks.
The current hearing agenda is:
· 2 p.m. – Welcome and opening remarks
· 2:05 p.m. – John Manzetti, CEO, Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse
· 2:10 p.m. – Christopher Molineaux, president, Pennsylvania Bio
· 2:20 p.m. – Gary Glausser, partner and CFO, Birchmere Ventures
· 2:30 p.m. – Rich Overmoyer, principal and director of economic architecture, GSP Consulting
· 2:45 p.m. – Alan West, president and CEO, Carmell Therapeutics
