HDPC to hold public hearing on H.B. 300 Monday in Harrisburg
HARRISBURG, Sept. 15 – House Democratic Policy Committee Chairman Mike Sturla, D-Lancaster, announced today that the committee will hold a public hearing to examine House Bill 300 from 2 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Monday in Room 418 Main Capitol Building, Harrisburg.
The hearing will be streamed live online at www.pahouse.com.
Introduced by Rep. Dan Frankel, D-Allegheny, H.B. 300 would protect people from discrimination based on their sexual orientation or gender identity. Frankel requested the hearing and will serve as its co-chairman. Frankel said a recent poll shows about 70 percent of Pennsylvanians support the bill.
The hearing agenda is:

· 2:10 p.m. – Panel One about Economic Benefits of Inclusion:
