Smith to host town hall meeting Thursday
DUNMORE, Feb. 19 – State Rep. Ken Smith, D-Lackawanna, is inviting constituents to a town hall meeting at the Dunmore Community Center, 1414 Monroe Ave.
The town hall meeting will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21. The guest speaker at the town hall meeting is Tom Skrobiszewski, regional director for the state Treasurer's Office. Skrobiszewski will help constituents search for unclaimed property.
"Hosting a town hall meeting is one way I can bring together my constituents and give them access to important state information and services," Smith said.
Smith's office also can help constituents in obtaining and filling out state forms of all kinds, including forms for prescription-drug assistance for qualifying senior citizens and applications for the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program and other state programs.
