Murphy sets Constituent Outreach locations for March
HARRISBURG, Feb. 24 – State Rep. Kevin Murphy announced that Constituent Outreach meetings will be held next week from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Throop and Moosic municipal buildings.
The Throop visit occurs March 3 at the borough building, 436 Sanderson St. in Throop.
The Moosic visit takes place March 4 at the borough building, 715 Main St. in Moosic.
"The program aims to make it more convenient for residents to obtain first-rate, convenient services for those who find it difficult to visit my full-time constituent service office in Jays Commons. The program also is designed to avoid the increased costs of operating additional full-time offices," said Murphy, D-Lackawanna.
Murphy said the Constituent Outreach meetings give people the opportunity to receive help on a variety of state services including notary work, PennDOT, Unemployment Compensation, PACE and PACENET, hunting and fishing licenses, CHIP, consumer protection, Social Security/disability issues, and many more.
Other Constituent Outreach dates to be held in March throughout the 113th Legislative District include:
· 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 10 at the South Abington Township Building, 104 Shady Lane Road, Chinchilla;
· 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 17 at the Taylor Borough Building, 122 Union St. in Taylor;
· 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 24 at the Clarks Green Borough Building, 104 N. Abington Road in Clarks Green.
