Monroe, Pike County legislators to hold
Vietnam veterans recognition event
Lawmakers seek information to recognize Vietnam vets
HARRISBURG, April 14 – State Rep. Mike Carroll, D-Luzerne/Monroe, said state House members from Monroe and Pike counties are seeking information from Vietnam War veterans so they can be invited to participate at an upcoming veterans recognition event on Memorial Day.
The four legislators representing the two counties will hold the event on Tuesday, May 26 at 2:30 p.m. at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on Fish Hill Road in Tannersville.
Vietnam era veterans who would like to attend the ceremony should call their state representative’s constituent service office:
