House Northeast Democratic Delegation to hold
public information sessions on new open records law
NANTICOKE, Nov. 3 – The state House Northeast Democratic Delegation will hold public informational meetings on the state’s recently enacted right-to-know law, which makes most state and county records available for the public to view. Delegation Chairman Rep. John Yudichak, D-Luzerne, said the meetings will help clarify the rights of citizens to access public records.
The dates and times of the informational sessions are as follows:
· 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13 in the large auditorium at Luzerne County Community College, 1333 S. Prospect St., Nanticoke.
· 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25 in the Mellow Auditorium at Lackawanna College, 501 Vine St., Scranton.
The meetings are being held in conjunction with the colleges and the state's Office of Open Records.
