Exeter, Kingston, West Pittston awarded recycling grants
HARRISBURG, Feb. 12 – State Rep. Phyllis Mundy, D-Luzerne, today announced three municipalities in the 120th Legislative District will be awarded state grants through the state Department of Environmental Protection:
· $473,073 to Exeter to implement a yard waste program.
· $221,347 to Kingston to implement a yard waste and recycling program.
· $236,782 to West Pittston to implement a curbside recycling and drop-off collection program.
"These grants give residents greater access to waste reduction and recycling opportunities, helping to ensure a healthy environment," Mundy said.
