Mundy presents House citations to local athletes
HARRISBURG, Nov. 13 – State Rep. Phyllis Mundy, D-Luzerne, recently presented Pennsylvania House of Representatives citations to two constituents for their induction into the 2009 Plains Sports Hall of Fame.
For their athletic accomplishments, the citation honors Nicholas Ametrano of Kingston for football, and Scott Answini of Wyoming for basketball. Both were inducted during the Plains Sports Hall of Fame's 22nd annual dinner in October.
"Mr. Ametrano and Mr.
Answini are to be praised for their commitment and dedication to their
respective sports and for being role models worthy of emulation," Mundy said.
"On behalf of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, I offer my best wishes
to both in their future endeavors."
