Resolution honors corrections officers, employees

The state House on Monday approved my resolution that designates June 2009 as Corrections Officers and Employees Month in Pennsylvania.

I believe the hardworking corrections officers and employees who face the possibility of being in harm’s way every day at work should be lauded for their efforts. Not only do they protect the public, but they also help rehabilitate inmates.
