Seip sponsoring free homeowners workshop;
Advance registration requested due to limited seating
POTTSVILLE, Feb. 4 – State Rep. Tim Seip will sponsor a free workshop for homeowners that will start at noon Saturday, March 27 at the Cressona Mall, 1544 Route 61 South, Pottsville. The workshop will be held in the store space adjacent to the hallway to the mall restrooms.
Registration is free, but seating is limited. Homeowners may register by calling Seip's Pottsville office at 570-624-3145 or toll free (866) 299-0277, or his Tilden Township office at 610-562-8435, or by sending an e-mail through the "Contact Me" page of his Web site: www.pahouse.com/Seip.
Joining Seip at the workshop will be representatives of the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, Schuylkill Community Action, Mid Penn Legal Services, the state Department of Environmental Protection, PPL Electric Utilities Corp. and Metropolitan Edison Co.
The workshop's first session will provide information on programs that may assist homeowners having difficulty making their mortgage payments or who may be facing foreclosure. The second session, which will begin at 2:30 p.m., will provide information on programs that may provide financial assistance to homeowners looking to make home renovations or energy efficiency improvements.
