Mann discusses child pornography bill, helpful program for area residents on cable television show
HARRISBURG, June 10 – State Rep. Jennifer Mann, D-Lehigh, discusses an important victory in helping to crack down on child pornography and related legislation she sponsored on her most recent legislative affairs program.
She also tells residents about a free, confidential assessment available at her office to help people find out if they are eligible for a variety of local, state and federal benefits and programs.
Viewers can find out the average amount of property tax relief they can expect this summer from the state’s slots gaming fund, as well as learn about a new tool to track the status of any property tax or rent rebates they are eligible for.
Other topics include the state budget proposal; a new program that provides rebates for home and small-business solar projects; and a bill on the governor’s desk that would allow children up to age 29 to remain on their parents’ insurance.
Airing stations and times for Mann’s show are:
· Channel 50, Service Electric TV 2; third Monday every month from 8:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.; fourth Monday of the month from 8 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
