Galloway to offer series of free Property Tax/Rent Rebate forums
NEW FALLS, Jan. 6 – Rep. John Galloway, D-Bucks, is pleased to once again offer area residents free help with their Property Tax/Rent Rebate applications.
Galloway will host a series of local Property Tax/Rent Rebate forums where seniors can ask questions about the program and receive assistance in filling out their applications.
The forums will be as follows:
· 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19
Falls Township Senior Center
Trenton and Oxford Valley roads, Fairless Hills
· 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26
Lower Bucks Senior Activity Center
Wood and Mulberry streets, Bristol
· 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Friday, March 5
Morrisville Senior Servicenter, Borough Annex
31 E. Cleveland Ave., Morrisville
Galloway and his staff will also be on-hand to help seniors with any other state government-related questions they may have. Free light refreshments will be served.
The Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program provides a rebate on property taxes or rent paid in 2009 of up to $650 to income-eligible residents who are 65 or older, 50 or older and widowed, or 18 or older with a permanent disability.
