Galloway to host senior expo
HARRISBURG, Oct. 3 – State Rep. John Galloway, D-Bucks, is hosting a senior expo from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, at Westaby Hall, 425 Hood Blvd., Fairless Hills.
There will be a number of free health and wellness opportunities including blood pressure and hearing screenings, and pneumonia and tetanus vaccinations offered by the Bucks County Department of Health.
You also can sign up for your free SEPTA pass.
There will be representatives from a number of government and nonprofit agencies and local businesses in attendance.
"Age has its benefits," Galloway said, "but you need to look for them. This expo will provide the opportunity to find many in one place."
Door prizes, giveaways and light refreshments will be available during the event.
