King, Evans to announce funding for local shelter
LEVITTOWN, March 24 – State Rep. Chris King, D-Bucks, will be joined on Tuesday by House Majority Appropriations Chairman Dwight Evans to present a grant to the American Red Cross Lower Bucks Shelter.
The presentation is planned for 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 25 at the shelter, located at 7301 New Falls Road in Levittown.
Media coverage is invited.
The shelter recently lost funding that was vital to its operations. King said he was pleased to be able to secure state funding so that the shelter can continue to provide services to residents of Bucks County.
