Gerber helps Conshohocken Little League purchase new scoreboard
CONSHOHOCKEN, April 25 – State Rep. Mike Gerber, D-Montgomery, joined Conshohocken Little League last weekend on opening day to throw out the opening pitch and to present state funding he helped deliver for the league.
Gerber presented a ceremonial $10,000 check he secured from the state to help the league purchase a new scoreboard for its 400 Little League players.
"Rob Krensel, Ed Foley, Charlie Mascio and the rest of the board work extremely hard to provide such a positive baseball experience for these kids, so it is with great pleasure that I helped secure these grants for the organization," Gerber said.
"The Conshohocken Little League has been making our community a better place since 1955, and it's an honor to help them keep their fields modern and beautiful for our children. I look forward to seeing the completed scoreboard."
