Gerber provides $10,000 for Narberth open space project on Windsor Avenue

NARBERTH, May 2 – State Rep. Mike Gerber, D-Montgomery, last Friday presented a $10,000 grant to help Narberth borough overhaul a quarter-mile section of Windsor Avenue between North Wynnewood Road to Dudley Avenue to increase the area's open space.

Gerber said the project will improve and protect the avenue's open space with enhancements to its lighting, pedestrian and bicycle paths, as well as with improvements to storm water management and traffic calming efforts.

The Windsor Avenue project is part of Narberth's new open space master plan, which aims to improve open space management in Narberth's streets, sidewalks, parks and various other public areas.
