Briggs announces new 2010 satellite office hours

HARRISBURG, Jan. 21 – State Rep. Tim Briggs, D-Montgomery, has announced new satellite constituent service office hours for 2010. These offices are set up to accommodate constituents who cannot make it to Briggs' main office during regular business hours.

The new hours are:

· Upper Merion Senior Service Center, 650 S. Henderson Road, King of Prussia

11 a.m. to 1 p.m. every second Thursday of the month

· Upper Merion Township Building, 175 W. Valley Forge Road, King of Prussia

6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. March 4, May 27, July 15, Sept. 15 and Nov. 18 (prior to township meetings)

· Bridgeport Borough Hall, Fourth and Mill streets, Bridgeport

6:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. every fourth Tuesday of the month (prior to council meetings)

· The Center for Positive Aging in Lower Merion (The PALM), 117 Ardmore Ave., Ardmore

10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every second Tuesday of the month

· West Conshohocken Borough Hall, 112 Ford St., West Conshohocken

6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 9, April 13, June 8, Aug. 10, Oct. 12 and Dec. 14 (prior to council meetings)

In addition to the satellite office hours outlined above, Briggs main local constituent service office, located at 677 W. DeKalb Pike in King of Prussia is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and by appointment, and can assist with all state-related questions, including:

· Free notary services

· PennDOT paperwork

· PACE and PACENET prescription-drug cards for seniors

· Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program

· Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP)

· Tax program information

· Other state-related program information.
