Old York Road Corridor Improvement Study town hall meeting March 19

 

ABINGTON, March 11 – State Rep. Josh Shapiro, D-Montgomery, announced that a town hall meeting will be held March 19 at Abington Senior High School to discuss improvements to the Old York Road Corridor in Abington Township between Rydal Road and Moreland Road.

 

Shapiro has secured $10.2 million in state funding to make improvements to state Route 611 and = has partnered with Abington Township to study existing conditions on the corridor. He is hosting the town hall meeting to receive community input on economic development, land use, traffic calming and beautification along the road.
