Vitali to host solar panel workshop in Radnor
‘Do Solar Panels Make Cents for You?’
HAVERTOWN, Jan. 10 – State Rep. Greg Vitali, D-Delaware, will host a unique workshop focused on growing the use of solar panels.
The workshop – titled “Do Solar Panels Make Cents for You?” – will offer
residents information to help them decide if solar panels make “cents” for
their home or business.
Vitali said the workshop will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25 (snow date: Feb. 8) at Radnor Elementary School, 20 Matsonford Road in Radnor.
The presenters will be James M. Ferguson, a renewable energy coordinator for the U.S. Department of Energy; Carmen LaRosa an energy program specialist with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection; Leo Bernabei, director of operations for Radnor School District; Finley Shapiro, consultant for green operations for Radnor School District and Villanova University; Alan Rushforth, owner of Rushforth Solar of Bryn Mawr; and Sarah Hetznecker, a consultant for SunTechnics.
