Boyle announces changes in hours of operations at local offices
HARRISBURG, Jan. 6 – State Rep. Brendan Boyle, D-Phila./Montgomery, today announced a change in the hours his offices on Bustleton Avenue and Rising Sun Avenue are open.
Boyle said both offices are now open a half-hour earlier, at 8:30 a.m., and closing a half-hour earlier, at 4:30 p.m. on weekdays. There are no longer evening hours at the Bustleton Avenue office, but the Rising Sun Avenue office continues to be open until 8 p.m. on Thursdays.
According to Boyle, the changes were made in response to feedback from constituents.
"We've had residents show up at the office prior to the 9 a.m. opening hoping to get in before they have to be at work, so we are now opening earlier in order to help them," said Boyle. "But for those who may need to come in for assistance with state forms or a state agency, we are continuing the Thursday evening hours at the Rising Sun Avenue office," he added.
