ceremony for new greenhouse

PHILADELPHIA, May 11 – State Reps. Brendan and Kevin Boyle on Thursday attended a ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of a Greenhouse located at the Klein JCC.

Also participating in the ceremony were: Andre Krug, CEO of the Klein JCC, Raechel Hammer, Vice President of Strategic Development of the Klein JCC, Lisa Sandler, Director of Community Services of the Klein JCC and executives from WalMart and Meals on Wheels of America.

The Klein JCC Catered meals program currently delivers frozen, microwavable dinners for seniors and others in need. The new greenhouse will now allow for fresh fruits and vegetables to be incorporated into those meals.
