Payton to host free 'Living Healthier' fair in Frankford
PHILADELPHIA, July 23 – State Rep. Tony Payton Jr., D-Phila., in conjunction with Greater Philadelphia Health Action, is hosting his first Living Healthier Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, July 31 at St. Mark's Church, 4442 Frankford Ave.
"This free event is intended to help people learn some simple, but effective ways they can lead a healthier lifestyle," Payton said. "Making a few changes in your day-to-day routine can have a dramatic impact on your quality of life, and save money on doctor visits. I hope this will give people the tools and inspiration to make those modifications."
The fair will feature a variety of local community health-care providers, free on-site examinations, and information to help adults and children live healthier lives. Refreshments and entertainment will be provided.
