Cruz reaction to confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor
HARRISBURG, Aug. 7 – State Rep. Angel
Cruz, D-Phila., today released the
following statement upon the confirmation of Justice Sonia
Sotomayor to the Supreme Court of the United States.
"We celebrate the triumph of a Latina woman to the Supreme Court of United States. This is a historic moment in a country where all people have the opportunity to achieve greatness," Cruz said. "I celebrate along with the Hispanic community, and congratulate Sonia Sotomayor on her achievement."
