Thomas to host breakfast honoring local women

HARRISBURG, March 18 – State Rep. W. Curtis Thomas will host a Women's History Month breakfast to honor local women from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, March 20 at Mt. Tabor A.M.E. Church, 961 N. Seventh St. in Philadelphia.

Honorees will include:

· Rev. Repsie Warren

· Rev. Mary Moore

· Rev. Martha A. Lang

· Rev. Beatrice Streeter

· Rev. Donna Jones

· Rev. Jaqueline Capers

· Rev. Delois Johnson

· Rev. Della Jamison

· Rev. Leslie Callahan

Thomas said the women being honored have engaged in major economic and/or social development activities that are helping to transform the lives of children and families in their communities.

The event will benefit women and children of Haiti.
