Johnson invites all students to attend college fair
PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 9 – State Rep. Kenyatta Johnson, D-Phila., is inviting all students to his 186th District Student Achievement College Fair this Saturday.
The event will feature representatives from 30 colleges and universities, including the State System of Higher Education schools and historically black colleges and universities (HBCU).
"Each and every student in the 186th District, and throughout the state of Pennsylvania, deserves the opportunity to pursue a quality higher education," Johnson said. "This event will help them explore all opportunities available to them. With dedication and hard work, our students can achieve great things."
The event will feature workshops for students and parents about choosing the right college, applying to college, applying for financial aid and scholarships, and much more.
The 186th Student Achievement College Fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14 at the G.W. Childs School, 1541 S. 17th St., Philadelphia.
