PHILADELPHIA, March 12 – State Rep. Rosita Youngblood, D-Phila., invites residents to attend the Easter events at two of Philadelphia's most historic locations, RittenhouseTown and Stenton, beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 15.
The day’s events will begin at 10 a.m. in Historic RittenhouseTown with an egg hunt. Participants also will be able to make their own piece of Rittenhouse paper and take a picture with the Easter Bunny. Youngblood said that the afternoon egg hunts in Historic Stenton begin at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Participants can also dye eggs and learn about dyes made from natural products.
"Easter is a time for family and celebration," Youngblood said. "These events are the perfect way to interact with your family and neighbors while celebrating Easter in historic Philadelphia."
