Go Green
Protecting the environment and our natural resources has always been a top priority for me. I have been recognized by the Pennsylvania League of Conservation Voters for my record of voting for environmental issues.

Springtime is the perfect time to get involved in protecting our environment and natural resources, and I encourage you to go green.

As you do your spring cleaning, consider donating items you can no longer use to charity rather than sending them to a landfill.

Recycling

Recycling such household rubbish as plastic, paper, glass and aluminum also helps to reduce waste being sent to landfills.

Composting

Composting will turn your yard waste and leftover food into rich soil for your garden.

Collecting Rainwater

Collecting rainwater is an inexpensive and easy way to cut your water use and save money. Rainwater is great to use for watering lawns and gardens and washing our pets and cars.
