The Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program provides rebates of up to $650 on property taxes or rent paid in 2007.

You may be eligible if you are:

• 65 or older
• 50 or older and widowed
• 18 or older and permanently disabled.

The income limits are $35,000 or less for homeowners and $15,000 or less for renters -- minus half of your Social Security or federal railroad retirement benefits.
