Biography

Rep. John Pallone is a lifelong resident of the Alle-Kiski Valley. He graduated from Valley High School in 1978 and married his wife Judi on August 17, 2002.

Currently residing in New Kensington, Pallone holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and economics from Grove City College, and a Juris Doctor degree from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University. He also attended Penn State University, New Kensington campus, and Edinboro State University.

A practicing lawyer and Commissioners’ Coordinator for Westmoreland County, Pallone brings ethical responsibility and vast knowledge of the law to his role of state lawmaker. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, and Westmoreland County Bar Associations.

Pallone is active in several local civic groups including the Sons of Italy Lodge #881 in New Kensington, the Columbiana Federation for Italian Americans, Bethel Lodge #789 F.&A.M. in Lower Burrell, and the Arnold Lions Club. He has also served on the Westmoreland County Mental Health/Mental Retardation Advisory Board, and is active with the Arnold Volunteer Fire Department #2, Arnold Chamber of Commerce, Westmoreland Human Opportunities, Inc. Board, and the Board of Pennsylvania State University, New Kensington.

Over the years, Pallone has also had the honor to serve as a board member for many other public and private volunteer organizations, boards and authorities, including the New Kensington YMCA, New Kensington Redevelopment Authority, Westmoreland Transit Authority, New Kensington-Arnold School Board and the Westmoreland Intermediate Unit #7.
