One of Pennsylvania's most pressing public safety and economic issues is its deteriorating transportation network. Although I have never voted for a tax increase of any kind and I have strong opinions on transportation funding and PennDOT's performance, some feel the state needs to come up with between $2 billion and $3 billion to fix its roads and bridges and deal with mass transit.
Which of these strategies for raising transportation revenue do you support, if any?
Convert more state highways to toll roads
Lease the turnpike and other roads to private companies
Increase the state's gasoline and/or diesel fuel tax
Increase driver license and other fees to reflect inflation
Increase tolls on the turnpike and other existing toll roads and bridges
