Access to health care has been opened to the citizens of Pennsylvania through a series of Scope of Practice bills that enable our health care professionals to practice their work to the true extent of their ability.

• July 20 – Solobay scope of practice legislation signed into law
• July 20 – Governor signs Senate version of Pashinski’s dental hygienist legislation into law
• July 15 – Gibbons’ bill to certify clinical nurse specialists goes to governor
• July 13 – Rx for Pa. gets a shot in the arm
• July 13 – House sends Readshaw physician assistants bills to governor
