Rep. Sean Ramaley argues on the House Floor for adoption of a resolution he introduced calling on the president and Congress to reject a decision by the Pentagon to award a multi-billion dollar military aircraft contract to a foreign concern. The resolution, which the state House passed unanimously, also urges Congress to investigate the Pentagon’s decision. Ramaley says the 179 mid-air refueling tankers called for in the contract are important to keeping U.S. fighter jets and bombers in the air and transporting materials and services essential to the safety of U.S. troops. - 6/27/2008
