He received his Juris Doctorate in 2002. Sean went to work with the U.S. Department of Labor, where he was responsible for reviewing and analyzing cases and claims pending before the Office of Administrative Law Judges, and advising a judge on the proper legal disposition of the cases. During his tenure, Sean also joined the American Federation of Government Employees, Local 644.

In addition to his work with the U.S. Department of Labor, Sean has worked as a practicing attorney. As an attorney, he has handled corporate transactions, wills and estates.
