Pennsylvania participates in a nationwide program that helps veterans and members of the military transition from active duty to careers in the construction trades.
 

Under the program, the building and construction trade unions, employers and joint apprenticeship training committees offer veterans more than 86,000 job-training and career-training opportunities.
 

If you are a veteran or a member of the military, National Guard or Reserve, there is no cost to participate in Helmets to Hardhats.
