MEET THE STAFF
Minerva Baez has lived in the northeast for 25 years. A member of the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society, Minerva graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Gwynedd Mercy University and is currently obtaining a master’s degree in business administration. Throughout her career, Minerva’s role has been one of helping others. As a legislative assistant for state Rep. Solomon, she will continue her role by utilizing her knowledge, skills and experience to help provide solutions to constituents’ issues.
Andrew Dalzell is a native Philadelphian who has devoted his career to the service of his city and fellow Philadelphians. He spent six years as a community organizer running the South of South Neighborhood Association (SOSNA) in South Philadelphia, where he worked with hundreds of volunteers to build parks, plan community festivals, preserve local history and more. He just returned from receiving his master's degree in public policy from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, where he studied youth unemployment and is thrilled to work with Rep. Solomon and this great team.
Mary Dougherty graduated from Penn State with a degree in political science. She has lived in Lawncrest for almost 30 years and is excited to be working on making the neighborhood a better, safer place to live.
Sue Grondski is thrilled to be working with Rep. Solomon's team. A longtime resident of the district, she is passionate about working with her neighbors to improve her community. Her energy and positivity light up the office and she looks forward to serving you.
Phil Grutzmacher has been a community activist in the Lawncrest community for the past forty years. He looks forward to helping Lawncrest and the rest of the District. Phil is a graduate of Lasalle University and the University of Notre Dame. He is an active member of the Lawncrest Community Garden and of Tree Northeast.
Rosemary Jackson is a people person with much energy for helping her community. She has been employed at Temple University for almost 30 years, where she currently works as a field research specialist canvassing neighborhoods and completing interviews throughout North Philadelphia. Rosemary comes with a wide range of talents and experiences, however, most of all, she is extremely passionate about community service. She is a single parent of three (one who is an adult daughter with special needs) and has volunteered countless hours since the age of 11. She has instilled the value of volunteerism in all of her children. Rosemary is grateful to be a part of Rep. Solomon's team!
