Donation Event for 2016 Backpack Giveaway--Thursday, Aug. 4
Help make the 2016 Backpack Giveaway a success by stopping by Paul Davis Restoration 1704 Hempstead Road in Lancaster for a donation event benefiting the 5th Annual Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2016. Appetizers and refreshments will be served.
Backpacks, school supplies and donations will be accepted to help ensure Lancaster City school children are prepared for the upcoming school year. A total of 1,141 backpacks were distributed at last year’s event and we would love to be able to match or exceed that to help even more children. This year’s Backpack Giveaway will take place on Saturday, August 20 at 11 a.m. at the Lancaster Rec Center.
