7th Annual Back to School Giveaway

Backpacks will be distributed from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The seventh annual Back-to-School Giveaway will be held on Sunday, August 19 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.! We’ll be back at Clipper Magazine Stadium – home of the Lancaster Barnstormers – for a day full of fun, activities and preparations for back to school!

School District of Lancaster kids in Kindergarten through 8th grade will receive a backpack, book and school uniform for the 2018-19 school year! Please register each child individually by clicking here.  The event is open for all, but free items are only for registered children. Please note that all items are first-come, first-served. You MUST complete a registration for each child. If you have 3 children, please complete this registration 3 times, once for each child.

Held inside the stadium this year, children can also get a free haircut while enjoying music, food, games and community activities. Vaccines will also be given on a first-come, first-served basis. Representatives from state and local agencies will be available to provide information about programs and services and my staff can help with any state-related matters. Children will also receive a free ticket to the 5 p.m. Lancaster Barnstormers game that evening!
