On the House floor, Rep. Rick Taylor urges his colleagues to vote for a statewide smoking ban bill. Taylor was in favor of allowing municipalities to opt for smoking regulations that are stricter than the proposed state ban – something the bill prohibits -- but said during debate that defeating the bill would deprive the public of important health protections.
