 Many dogs endure inhumane treatment and cruelty in our state's puppy mills. Here I am with a pug that is blind in one eye and has a crippled leg due to abuse. He was one of a number of rescued dogs brought by caring humans to a state Capitol rally at which I joined many of my Democratic and Repubican colleagues in condemning the inhumane conditions at many commercial dog breeding facilities in the Commonwealth.
I am a proud co-sponsor of legislation (H.B. 2525) that would eliminate the substandard conditions and abuse that has been documented at some large-scale dog-breeding operations. You can help move this legislation forward.
