Vitali to host Real ID informational session in Havertown April 18
HAVERTOWN, April 8 – State Rep. Greg Vitali will host a Real ID Town Hall from noon to 1:30 p.m., Thursday, April 18 at the Haverford Township Administration Building, 1014 Darby Road, 19083.
A representative from the state Transportation Department will be on-site to explain Real ID and help answer questions and concerns.
“The session will be a great way for people to have their questions about Real ID answered by a PennDOT representative,” Vitali said.
Real IDs are now available through PennDOT. After Oct. 1, 2020, a Real ID-compliant license or ID card, or a U.S. Passport or Military ID, will be necessary to board a domestic commercial flight or enter a secure federal facility. A Real ID-compliant driver’s license has enhanced security features required by federal legislation.
Anyone with questions can contact Vitali’s office at 610-789-3900.
