After the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Frank Sarris Public Library in Canonsburg, state Rep. White, along with Rep. Tim Solobay and Senator Barry Stout, presented a $1 million state grant check to Susan Poore and  Manuel Pihakas to help make the library a reality.

State Rep. Jesse White is joined by state Rep. Tim Solobay Manuel Pihakas, Athena and Frank Sarris, and Susan Poore at a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Frank Sarris Public Library in Canonsburg.  Mr. Pihakas and Ms. Poore are board members of the library.  The two-floor, 30,000-square-foot building will be located at Jefferson Avenue and Murdock Street and will be energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
