Medical marijuana is now legal in 13 states and is being actively considered in several others, including New Jersey and New York. It is time for Pennsylvania to do the same.

I have heard from hundreds of patients who say medical marijuana would help to ease their pain and suffering. It is on their behalf I have introduced H.B. 1393. Support for this bill is growing. Several newspapers have written editorials calling for the legal use of medical marijuana, including the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Scranton Times, the Pocono Record and the Daily Review, and KDKA-AM Radio Host Marty Griffin has spoken favorably of it on his program. I thank them all for their support.
