Rep. Curry celebrates Hanukkah at the Mary Bert Gutman Early Learning Center in Philadelphia. With Rep. Curry are the center's founder, Mary Bert Gutman, and several children who, along with their parents, made latkes, sang songs and spun dreidels. Rep. Curry has been very supportive of the center's early childhood programs, and has helped the center obtain state funding for important capital projects.

Rep. Curry participates in a hearing held by the House Health and Human Services Committee on mental health care and substance abuse programs available in Pennsylvania.

Rep. Curry attends a special ceremony at the National Armory in Montgomery County where Gov. Rendell signs two energy bills in to law: H.B. 1202, which Rep. Curry co-sponsored, and Special Session S.B. 22, which will help spur the development of homegrown biofuels in Pennsylvania, reduce the state’s dependence on foreign oil and create jobs.
