Over the past two years, House Democrats were successful in implementing several mechanisms that declare our energy independence and place Pennsylvania in the driver's seat to become a global leader in energy production.

House Democrats are committed to continuing this process by employing sensible policies, including:

• Further investment in alternative energy sources.
• Finding additional ways to lower energy bills for consumers.
• Attracting and offering support for bright and focused entrepreneurs and creating high-wage jobs for workers.
• Advancing measures that will further reduce our energy consumption.
