Latinos on the Hill Day

Rep. Dwight Evans was honored September 23 by the Statewide Coalition of Hispanic Chambers for his commitment to the minority business development throughout the state. The award was presented by Kenneth I. Trujillo, Chairman of the Board of the Greater Philadelphia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Representatives from Hispanic Chambers in the Lehigh Valley, Central Pennsylvania, Berks County, and Philadelphia attended the ceremony which was held following the Chambers' first Latinos on the Hill Day.

Martin Luther King Day Celebration

The Philadelphia Orchestra once again presented its annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Tribute Concert at Martin Luther King High School. The concert drew more than 1,200 attendees. Click the photos below to view larger images.
